COURSE DESCRIPTION

PHOTO120 — Photographic Arts  (5 cr)

Students develop artistic interpretations of analog and digital images by applying alternative printing techniques. Topics include photo montages, mordançage, alternative color processes such as cyanotype and chromoskedasic, image transfers, and applying photographic images to non-traditional substrates. Students learn to sequence and present images in handmade books. Prerequisite: PHOTO 101 or permission of department or division. (SFCC)
